Dr. Seymour, Shirley Seymour and Dr. Parolli recently attended the Mississippi Dental Association meeting in Destin, FL. The MDA holds this meeting every year and it gives dentists in Mississippi the opportunity to come together and not only socialize, but also discuss trends and changes in the dental arena.
This year, both doctors and Shirley attended several seminars and lectures. Dr. Seymour and Shirley heard Dr. Gordon Christensen discuss “Controversies in Dentistry and Twenty New Exciting Dental Techniques.” Dr. Parolli attended a seminar by Dr. Russell Baer on “Implant Restoration – Simplifying the Process from Consult to Delivery.” These seminars are invaluable to our doctors – helping them to better treat you, our patients.
In addition, our entire office staff participated in some off-site training in June conducted by Penny Reed of Penny Reed and Associates. Penny is a dental consultant who helps dental offices operate in an efficient, productive way, while providing the utmost in patient care. Penny took us through an exercise to find ways to create a relaxing, professional environment for our patients as well as ways to better serve our patients. We came up with slogans that we felt best described our practice and designed posters with these slogans. It was a fun, enlightening day for all!
